Somewhere warm this time, that's what we always tell ourselves after freezing our ass off for the past few trips. And so, our virgin trip to the Middle East. Cities seldom appeal to us and this time, it was no exception. After one night in Dubai, we drove out into the vast deserts of the UAE.
The desolate dunes provide an excellent canvas, absent of distractions. As the sun dips, the play of shadow and texture on the dunes transforms the vast landscape into a studio-like setting.
We stayed in a desert resort in the middle of no where after a 3 hours drive from Dubai. It was definitely the highlight of our trip despite the boring drive. Although we don't usually indulge in touristy activities, riding a camel in the desert proves to be too alluring.
